ISO 9000 Implementation

AMS uses the ISO 9000 family of quality management systems, which is a set of standards that helps us ensure we meet customer needs within the requirements related to a product and service.

We are dedicated to the creation and continual improvement of effective and efficient operating processes, reducing waste, increasing productivity, and above all else, increasing customer satisfaction and retention.

Our standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, ensuring that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.

Quality Check Process

As a job shop, we don’t have to outsource many of our projects; we do most or all of the work in-house so we have complete control over the assignment from beginning to end. Quality management starts with the software that allows us to see where the project is in real-time and follow it through each station as each of our workers scans the work order, does their assigned task, and hands it off to the next step in the process. The movement of the products going through their individual processes means we can easily track their development.

At each station in our plant, highly skilled and specialized workers take pride in creating your product. They use the best of the best machines, equipment, and materials to guarantee you receive superior products.

Any product can be rejected at any point in the manufacturing process if it doesn’t meet our standards. It can be reworked or recycled depending on the type of flaw. We have less than a 1% rejection rate and we are pretty proud of that fact.

There is one final inspection before work orders are sent to shipping. Tolerances are double-checked and each product is given a thorough once-over. We believe that using technology and human quality control safeguards top-quality results.

Strict Lead Times

Because we have an efficient system, we adhere to strict lead times. This ensures you receive your product in a timely manner. Whether we are designing a prototype or creating your product for the thousandth time, know that you’ll have your product in hand when you need it. We even have a storage area we can keep a limited inventory for items we produce on a regular basis for you. We have a pickup and delivery service so you get your products on time.

Using Superior Materials

We work with various vendors to make sure we receive first-rate materials to use on your products. AMS does not accept cheap materials. We value you as a customer and want to make sure you receive high-quality products that last.
