According to the IAAPA, the Brass Ring Award dates back to the 1800s when rings were suspended from carousels for riders to grasp. They were low enough to grasp, but high enough to challenge the riders to reach out. AMS is proud to announce that one of our great clients, VLocker, has won second place in the New Products category at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) show in Orlando, Florida. Their new product, the VLocker Dual Access Ride Locker, helped them secure the prestigious Brass Ring award.
This is exactly what VLocker has done and is continually doing.
Steven Wooley, VLocker’s VP of Business Operations, was at the show when the award was presented and witnessed firsthand the excitement and chatter that this new innovation is bringing to the industry.
“This is a very exciting award to receive as an exhibitor at IAAPA,” Wooley said. “Immediately following the announcement of the winners people flocked to our booth just to see and experience why we received the Brass Ring award for Best New Product. The level of excitement and buzz around the new ride lockers in just the first day of the show has been better than we expected. We had very high expectations of this product but the number of park and attraction operators around the industry asking for proposals is fantastic.”
We are so thrilled to be a part of the VLocker product and part of all of the innovation and convenience that their products bring to amusement park goers all over the world. We are proud to stand behind a brand and a partner who is innovating and pushing the envelope for how the world does business.
Congrats again, VLocker! Here’s to many more awards and taking the industry by storm.
